The Inspiration
"The orange blossoms collected faded, printed words in between the pages of my wilted book. The black ink stained their parched petals. The metaphor provided by the blooms proved too fervent to disregard. No matter how dried the florals became, they remained. Stained by the words that existed around them, the idioms acted as memorabilia. If time heals most wounds, consider these wounds to the bone, covered with a hollow-hearted smile."
